Our Projects
This project focuses on empowering indigenous impoverished farmers especially women with knowledge of good innovative sustainable agricultural practices in order to improve food production, nutrition and combat climate change to reduce poverty levels in their households. We have established a Farmer Field School dedicated to empowering farmers with knowledge and skills to become experts in their own fields through our training programs. Our programs are designed to sharpening the farmers ability to make critical and informed decisions, sensitizing farmers in new ways of thinking and problem solving and as well as helping farmers learn how to organize themselves and their communities. We train farmers on organic cultivation of vegetables, maize, rice, moringa, potatoes, soya beans and many more. We also provide training on domestic livestock farming and feed formulation.
